The
performance choice
The brake division
from CL started with Tanks brakes like AMX 30 and
AMX 10, Airbus, Mirage F1, Helicopters like Tigers
and Sikorski, TGV trains, high speed locomotives
Later, the passion of the Carbone Lorraine engineers
permitted the developpement of a whole range of
brakes pads for motorcycle. Since a fiew years,
another range is about to be developed: the motorsport
brakepads for racing cars (Rallye, Trackcircuit...).

The experience acquired
on our aeronautic applications enables us to make
materials for racing cars.

| Our
constant presence in racing keeps the performance
of our products and our developement teams on the
best performance level. |

| Sinter
metal makes/gives you : |
|
|
GRIP
At the opposite to organic materials, the braking
power of sinter metals doesn't decrease with the
temperature !
- no need to change the pads to rediscover the
inital feeling.
- no time waste for each braking: the drop of
the organic products friction coefficient is imperceptible,
and so you loose seconds without knowing it.
Sinter metal is produced at 1000°C, therefore
it remains stable during the braking. Like metal,
his hardness gives a very high coefficient of
friction and an outstanding bite.
SECURITY BY ANY KIND OF
WEATHER
Sinter metal brakes by every weather. It brakes
the ice or the water film coat which covers the
disc.
SECURITY ALL THE TIME
- Exceptional coupling of the material to his
support, thanks to an efficient metal-metal bonding.
-The sinter metal doesn't burn.
TIME
The bedding in is very easy, you can do it yourself.
Sinter metal can be used cold, at the difference
to the organic materials which must be conditioned.
DE L'ARGENT
- less pads changing
- less assistance
- it saves the disc
- no material transfer
As sinter metal is harder than synthetic resin,
lifetime is higher. It contains carbone, produced
by Carbone Lorraine, which lubricates the pad-disc
interface.
